基于FPGA的多波束相参积累的快速实现

摘要:
在雷达信号处理中,Keystone变换常常用于校正回波信号长时间相参积累过程中出现的距离走动,以提高信噪比。常规的插值做法运算负担重,资源占用多,当需要对多波束并行处理时,难以进行工程实现。使用非均匀快速傅里叶变换(Non-Uniform Fast Fourier Transform,NUFFT)来实现对多波束信号的相参积累,可以明显减少运算量,提高检测效果。同时,提出一种新的现场可编程门阵列(Field Programmable Gate Array,FPGA)实现方式,通过改写旋转因子,利用两级快速傅里叶变换(Fast Fourier Transform,FFT)来实现NUFFT,提高运算速度的同时又减少了存储量。此方法已经在FPGA中实现,并应用于雷达中。

Abstract:
The Keystone transform is often used to correct the range-cell-crossing in the long-time coherent integration process in order to improve the signal-to-noise ratio in radar signal processing. Conventional interpolation methods are heavy in computation and will occupy a lot of resources,which brings difficulties in engineering realization when multi-beam parallel processing is needed. In this paper,the non-uniform fast Fourier transform (NUFFT) is used to achieve coherent integration of multi-beam signals,which can significantly reduce the computation and improve the detection effect. At the same time,this paper proposes a new field programmable gate array (FPGA) implementation method. The NUFFT is realized by rewriting the rotation factor and using the two-level fast Fourier transform (FFT). The computing speed is improved and the storage capacity is reduced. This method has been implemented in FPGA and applied to radar.
