基于CUT自身先验知识的STAP

摘要:
在空时自适应处理(STAP)中,通常使用训练样本来估计杂波协方差矩阵(CCM)。在本文中训练样本仅用来估计部分杂波协方差矩阵,大部分杂波协方差矩阵由待检测单元(CUT)计算。注意到CUT具有先验知识:只有待检测的频率通道可能包含目标信号,而其他频率通道只有杂波。因此,提出了一种基于CUT先验知识的STAP方法。这种方法将待检测单元的杂波分为两部分来重建:第一部分是待检测频率通道的杂波成分,该部分可能混有目标信号,因此通过训练样本来估计;第二部分是其他频率通道中的杂波,这部分可直接从CUT中提取,不需要估计。

Abstract:
In space time adaptive processing (STAP),the clutter covariance matrix (CCM) is completely estimated by the training samples. In this paper,only partial CCM is estimated by the training samples while the most of the CCM is calculated by cell under test(CUT). We note that CUT has its own prior knowledge: only the frequency channel to be detected may contain the target signal,the other frequency channels only contain clutter. Thus,we propose a STAP method based on the prior knowledge of CUT. This method reconstructs the clutter by dividing the clutter of CUT into two parts: the first part is the clutter component in the frequency channel to be detected. This part may be mixed with the target signal,so it is estimated by the training samples. The second part is the clutter in the frequency channels except the one to be detected.This part is directly extracted from the CUT and does not need to be estimated.
