基于自适应分区的非平稳杂波抑制方法

摘要:
对于非正侧视阵机载雷达,杂波在近程表现出严重的非平稳性,在距离模糊情况下近程微弱目标和近程非平稳强杂波混叠,导致传统空时自适应处理(Space-Time Adaptive Processing,STAP)方法的运动目标检测性能严重下降。为了解决该问题,本文提出了一种基于自适应分区和正交投影的机载雷达非平稳杂波抑制方法。首先,基于回波数据在距离-多普勒域将机载雷达回波自适应划分为非平稳杂波区、平稳杂波区和清晰区,然后在非平稳杂波区采取俯仰维正交投影级联STAP处理,在平稳杂波区采取传统STAP处理,在清晰区采取传统PD处理。该方法能够显著提升机载雷达在全距离和全速度域的目标探测性能。仿真实验验证了所提方法的有效性。

Nonstationary Clutter Suppression Method Based on Adaptive Partition

Abstract:
For the airborne non-side-looking array radar, clutter exhibits severe non-stationarity character at short range. In the case of range ambiguity, weak target and nonstationary strong clutter are mixed in the short range, which leads to serious degradation of the performance of traditional space-time adaptive processing (STAP) method for moving target detection. In order to solve this problem, a method based on adaptive partition and orthogonal projection for airborne radar nonstationary clutter suppression is proposed. Firstly, based on the echo data, the airborne radar echo is divided adaptively into non-stationary clutter area, stationary clutter area and clear area in the range Doppler domain. Then, the pitch dimension orthogonal projection cascade STAP processing is adopted in the non-stationary clutter area, the traditional STAP processing is adopted in the stationary clutter area, and the traditional PD processing is adopted in the clear area. This method can significantly improve the target detection performance of airborne radar in full range domain and full velocity domain. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
