一体化信号相位连续性对模糊函数的影响

摘要:
雷达通信一体化波形需要携带通信数据,而通信数据会使一体化波形改变,使其模糊函数的性能变差,给目标运动参数估计带来困难。本文通过理论分析和仿真实验验证了通信数据对连续相位调制的MSK-LFM一体化信号和非连续相位调制的DS-CSS一体化信号模糊函数的影响。结果表明,MSK-LFM和DS-CSS的模糊函数均受到通信数据的影响,而MSK-LFM的模糊函数具有更低的旁瓣,遮挡效应更小;MSK-LFM和DS-CSS的零多普勒截线同时受通信数据影响,但MSK-LFM一体化信号的零多普勒截线具有更低的旁瓣,对通信数据不太敏感;MSK-LFM和DS-CSS的零延时截线都不受通信数据影响。综上所述,当通信数据采用连续相位调制时,有助于雷达通信一体化信号得到性能更好的模糊函数,提高目标运动参数估计的精度。

Influence of Integrated Signal Phase Continuity on Ambiguity Function

Abstract:
Since the radar-communication integrated waveform carries communication data, the integrated waveform will change and the performance of the ambiguity function will be worse accordingly, which affect the estimation performance of targets’ moving parameter. In this paper, theoretical analysis and simulation experiments are taken to verify the influence of communication data on the ambiguity function of the MSK-LFM integrated signal with continuous phase modulation and the DS-CSS integrated signal with discontinuous phase modulation. The results show that the ambiguity functions of MSK-LFM and DS-CSS are affected by the communication data, while the ambiguity function of MSK-LFM has lower sidelobes and less masking effects; the zero-Doppler cuts of MSK-LFM and DS-CSS are also affected by the ommunication data, but the zero-Doppler cut of the MSK-LFM integrated signal has lower sidelobes and is not sensitive to the communication data; the zero-delay cuts of MSK-LFM and DS-CSS are not affected by the communication data. In conclusion, when the communication data adopts continuous phase modulation, it is helpful for the radar-communication integrated signal to obtain a better performance of ambiguity function and improve the accuracy of targets’ moving parameter estimation.
