基于单元筛选抑噪积累的扩展目标检测方法

摘要:
能量积累检测是通过对各单元功率进行积累来检测扩展目标,由于目标散射点分布具有稀疏性,能量检测器会因为陷落损失影响检测性能。本文根据广义似然比理论,提出一种基于单元筛选抑噪积累的扩展目标检测方法,该方法在筛选高回波功率单元的同时,采用抑制噪声后的功率平方进行积累。通过飞机模型的暗室实测数据进行了实验验证,并在相同的筛选准则下分析了抑噪积累与功率积累的性能差异。实验结果表明:对于散射点稀疏分布的扩展目标,单元筛选抑噪积累检测器能有效提升目标的检测性能。

Abstract:
Energy accumulation detection is a method for detecting extended targets by accumulating power from individual cells. However, due to the sparsity of target scattering points, energy detectors may suffer from detection performance degradation caused by the phenomenon known as “collapsing loss”. In this paper, based on the generalized likelihood ratio theory, we propose a extended target detection method that employs cell selection and noise suppression accumulation. This method accumulates the squared power of selected high?echo power cells while suppressing noise. The experimental validation is conducted using the real measurement data of an aircraft model in a darkroom, and the performance difference between noise suppression accumulation and power accumulation under the same selection criteria is analyzed. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively enhance the detection performance for the extended targets with sparse distributed scattering points.
